Bike tour through the vineyards and cellars of Valpantena.

The initiative, dedicated to bikers and wine lovers, chooses a much loved method and means of making Valpantena, the eastern part of Valpolicella, known, the vineyards from which its best Amarones are born and the wine tourism activities that dot it: the bicycle .
Four professional journalists who work for different newspapers Andrea Guolo, Giambattista Marchetto, Gilberto Bertini and Emanuele Gobbi will visit eight interesting places in Valpantena: La Collina dei Ciliegi & CA' del Moro, Case Vecie, Bertani, Costa Arente, Villa Pellegrini, Villa Arvedi, Ripa della Volta and Pernigo to taste the oil, wines and typical products of our beloved Valpantena.

Andrea Guolo

Cycling journalist (Milano Finanza, Corriere Vinicolo, The Drinks Business, Gambero Rosso and director of italianwinetour.info), Andrea Guolo, together with  Giambattista Marchetto, Gilberto Bertini and Emanuele Gobbi, will tackle a journey on 19 and 20 October to talk about wine tourism among vineyards, cellars, fruit producers, historic gardens, natural parks , noble villas and country houses by eliminating cars and exhaust fumes, and living the experience of wine tourism with e-bikes in total harmony with nature.
Crossing the valley along secondary roads and hilly landscapes made of marogne (dry stone walls characteristic of the wine-growing landscape of the area), pergola and guyot vines, cellar after cellar will document the wine experiences designed by local companies for the wine tourists who come to visit.
