Between myth and icon.

This is the synthesis that identifies the past, present and future of Bertani, the historic winery in Valpolicella-Valpantena that from this year makes its debut as part of the new Angelini Wines & Estates brand, the brand that characterises the wineries of the international pharmaceutical group and of which Bertani has been part since 2011.

165 years of history, 200 hectares in total between the two valleys alone, the embodiment of a terroir with a vocation and identity, from which Amarone originates, the great Veronese red wine that Bertani exports to more than 60 countries around the world. And it is exactly here in the 50 hectares in Valpantena, included in the Valpolicella PDO area, that it all began in 1857 thanks to the resourcefulness and innovative vision of Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani, still recognised today as pioneers in the field of viticulture and oenology, to the point of immortalising their entrepreneurial spirit, totally focused on quality, in the unmistakable "Bertani style".

Firmly anchored in its history and the values that have made its wines ambassadors of Made in Italy oenology on the international markets, today Bertani is a company in ongoing development that keeps the "sacredness" of origin alive and the continuous search for quality in its wines that in the glass exude belonging and identity.

There are 4 collections currently in the portfolio:
Icone (Amarone della Valpolicella Classico and Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Catullo);
I Cru di Bertani (Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ognisanti and Valpolicella Classico Le Miniere);
Territorio (Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena, Ripasso della Valpolicella Valpantena, Valpolicella Valpantena, Recioto della Valpolicella Valpantena and Soave Sereole);
Original Vintage Edition (Soave and Secco).
